$19 Surprise

Kid Crossing and Project Share.
2nd and 3rd grade boys 11:30 a.m. small group set a goal to earn (not beg!) $10.50 for Project Share. It would be enough to provide food for one person for one week.

Here are some of the things they did:

gave up video games and worked extra jobs around the house instead.
raked and shoveled leaves.
asked for chances to do extra jobs.
collected eggs from the hen house and sold them.

Here’s what they earned and gave:

$19.50!

The story continues. They are working again this week, because they are certain they can help feed even more people with Project Share gifts! Their goal? $40!
