Kid Crossing and Project Share.
2nd and 3rd grade boys 11:30 a.m. small group set a goal to earn (not beg!) $10.50 for Project Share. It would be enough to provide food for one person for one week.
Here are some of the things they did:
- gave up video games and worked extra jobs around the house instead.
- raked and shoveled leaves.
- asked for chances to do extra jobs.
- collected eggs from the hen house and sold them.
Here’s what they earned and gave:
$19.50!
The story continues. They are working again this week, because they are certain they can help feed even more people with Project Share gifts! Their goal? $40!
